Have you ever wondered what we do all winter while the campground is closed? You’d be surprised at how busy we stay. Aside from shoveling and plowing snow, catching up with friends and family, and packing things away for the next few months, we start working on our next season.
We miss you when you’re gone because it’s quiet here. Really quiet. But we use the time to look into new things we can provide for our campers in the coming year. Many of you make suggestions when you’re here and we often look into them during our break.
We use the time to plan our themed weekends and organize the inventory and staffing that we’ll need to make each weekend the best experience we can offer. We attend conferences and RV shows to gather new ideas and to meet new campers who are looking for a campground like ours to camp in.
Our conversations are about low hanging trees that need to be limbed, sites that need to be seeded, and utility upgrades in areas of the campground. Pretty exciting stuff, right? We love talking about those things because we love our campground and our campers. It’s what we do and we want to continue doing it for a long time. We want you to keep enjoying it here for a long time, too.
We’ll see you in the spring and we cannot wait for you to see what we dreamed up over the winter. It’s going to be great!
