What’s better than spending your entire day dressed in your favorite casual wear. It’s the one place in your life where the whole neighborhood is wearing their favorite cozy clothes, too.
You can change from t-shirt and shorts to your bathing suit and then back to your old standby t-shirt and shorts again. Toss on your jeans or sweats for cool evenings around the campfire, along with that favorite hoodie.
Jammies can be long johns, swim trunks, or big t-shirts if that’s what feels good to sleep in. The kids don’t have to have matching ensembles and it will feel surprisingly good to see they have dirty feet from running barefoot around the campsite all day.
Tennies and flip-flops are all you need for your feet. It’s nice to pack for camping and only have to bring two pair of shoes. Let the rest of the treasures in your shoe closet stay home and rest while you are away. Your tootsies are going to get a chance to breath but be warned that they may rebel when you go home and put them back into pumps or work boots.
Hair can be gathered up in a hair tie and ball caps make an appearance all week. There isn’t a real need for makeup or cologne because you’ll just wash it all of in the pool. You get to let yourself be yourself for as long as you are here. That’s just one of the benefits of camping. You get back to nature and can also get back to the natural you.
Summer is waning so now is the time to make a reservation for that last camping trip of the year. Give us a call and we’ll have a nice campsite waiting for you to get here.
